A Gift from the Source

As if I needed another reason to Be a Selfish Giver, here’s another reminder:
Everything I have is the result of what I’ve been given
The Great Creator gifted me life (as well as the gift of the present)
My creativity & writing is a gift from the Source
That voice inside me that just feeds me the words

Where does my intellect come from?
From the talents I was gifted at birth
Where does my work ethic come from?
From watching the example set by my positive coaches
Where does my inspiration come from?
From the world around me!
Observing this mystical dance of happenings & events
Interacting with people who are different than me in order to expand my thinking
Consuming the creative acts of the cool people who surround me & came before me
So, why give?
Because everything I have is a gift
Gifts that were given to me
Giving it forward is my method of giving back to the Collective that gave so much to me
My overflowing cup filled from the wellspring
Quick story…
A stranger, Ron, sat next to me on Friday. We did some deep-see diving, as we went on a conversational journey. Along the way, the perspective he shared inspired this piece. So, all credit goes to Ron for this one. Thank you for the inspiration.
(By the way, Ron is no longer a stranger. He’s already a friend who became family.)
